Studley Sunflower Engineered Oak

Studley Sunflower Oak 125 x 14/3mm has a total thickness of 14mm with a 3mm hardtop wear layer. This product comes in random lengths between 300-1200mm. This product is lightly brushed and finished with a pearl satin uv lacquer which gives the plank more texture and character.

Each plank has a 4V Groove, bevelled edge giving each plank more definition individually. This floor can be sanded down up to 3 times, however it shouldn't be necessary to do so for the first 15-20 years. The grade of this product is rustic meaning the planks have more knots and imperfections giving the product much more character and warmth. The rustic grade is the most popular grade in the wood flooring industry.

The Studley Sunflower can be installed using one of two techniques. Option one would be to secret nail the tongue part of the plank into a wooden subfloor. Option Two would be to stick the timber directly onto the subfloor with use of flooring adhesive. Please see the full, downloadable installation guide in the installation tab above for more information.

Engineered wood flooring looks incredible but it is also incredibly practical too. Engineered wood flooring is made from layers of plywood stuck together before being finished with a layer of lamella. This means engineered wood flooring can have many more applications in comparison to a solid wood for example. Engineered wood floor can therefore be used with underfloor heating and is also suitable for using in conservatories and even basements.
