The Schlüter-DITRA matting is a polypropylene membrane featuring square dovetailed recesses imprinted with EasyCut guidelines and an EasyFill design. DITRA provides waterproofing, vapour pressure equalisation (for underside moistures) and uncoupling (for problematic substrates) when used in conjunction with tile coverings.
- Key features:
- Fleece fabric laminated on the underside.
- Uncouples the covering from the substrate, neutralising stresses between the substrate and the tile covering.
- The adhesive-filled square recesses provide load distribution, transferring mechanical stress directly to the substrate for added durability.
- Protects the sub-structure from damage caused by permeating moisture or aggressive substrates thanks to its waterproofing properties and high-water vapour diffusion seal.
- Air channels, that remain open on the underside, enabling vapour pressure equalisation in case of moisture impact from below.
