Regal® Movement Joint

10mm width and various depths hard wearing aluminium movement joint matched to the Regal Collection range of tiles and grout.

• These aluminium profiles absorb heavy stresses and evenly distribute them throughout the flooring and foundations.
• The epoxy-compound infill absorbs up to 20% across the width of the joint, e.g. 2mm is absorbed across a 10mm wide infill.
• The metal profile makes them ideal for heavy footfall areas.
• When using them on floors where there is a joint in the sub-floor or a structural movement joint, they MUST be followed through into the tiled surface.
• They can also be used on suspended floors, directly over the junction of two substrates (e.g. screed to timber) or where the tiling area exceeds 10x10m (with no one side exceeding 10m in length).
• On heated floors, they should be used where the tiling area exceeds 40m², with no side exceeding 8m in length.
• Select the profile to suit the thickness of the tiles being used.
• During installation, apply the tile adhesive around the junction using a trowel, then press the profile into the adhesive and align it to the tiles.
• Spread tile adhesive over the entire surface of the joint and fit the tiles into the adhesive, aligning them so they are flush with the top edge of the profile.
• Allow a joint of 2mm around the profile and fill it with grout.
• Length: 2.5m.
• Other depths are available.
