An SMP-based single-component adhesive, Jackoboard’s Board-Fix is a thixotropic, moisture curing mounting adhesive and sealant without the use solvents or silicone. This unique formulation can be used to seal wall boards in wet areas as well as dowel and screw washer fix penetrations in wet areas. It will also bond Jackoboard XPS elements together or repair any damage to the XPS elements.
- No surface preparation is required however the surface does need to be clean and dry. It can be used on a multitude of surfaces including concrete, plaster, ceramic, glass, metal, wood boards, construction materials and aluminium (anodized or powder coated). It doesn’t foam and can be painted, remaining elastic.
