Excel Bond Waterproof Tanking is a one-part, solvent-free liquid membrane designed to protect walls and floors from moisture penetration behind tiles. It is ideal for waterproofing wet rooms, showers, bathrooms, kitchens, and utility rooms before you begin tiling, and is suitable for fully immersed tiling installations.
- Applied easily by brush or roller in two coats, the bright yellow liquid dries to form a flexible, water-resistant film at a final depth of 0.8mm to 1mm. This flexible layer copes well with natural substrate movement and vibration, while also acting as a crack isolation membrane to cover cracks and joints up to 3mm wide without additional sealing tape.
- The formula is designed for quick project turnarounds. The first coat dries in 1 to 2 hours, and you can begin tiling just 2 hours after applying the final coat.
