Apuano™ Tile (60cm x 60cm)

Blue veined marble is a rare but beautiful natural stone that’s found between Apuan and the Apennine Alps in northern Italy. Based on several pieces of the real stone, we’ve expertly recreated this beauty on a porcelain base making it a fraction of the price of the real marble with the added benefit of a more practical finish.

• To best show off the beautiful blue veins, the tile’s unique surface glaze is a matt opaque satin. To achieve these low-reflective satin textures, the oxide Zirconia, found in the earth’s minerals (providing stability in high temperatures, strong thermal and corrosion resistance and chemical inertness) has been enhanced. It avoids the high shine typically seen with marble tiles that limit their practical uses in the home. The high technical performance of this smooth, skin like texture means it can be used on a multitude of surfaces.
• Suitable for use with underfloor heating providing the correct substrate preparation and a suitable flexible cement based tile adhesive and grouts are used. For more information on fitting please visit our knowledge base or contact your local store .
