Introducing Mapeguard UM35 by Mapei, a waterproofing, uncoupling and anti-fracture membrane. Suitable for internal and external substrates when laying ceramic, porcelain and stone flooring onto difficult, cracked substrates as well as on substrates that are damp and not fully cured, reducing the requirement to copy the layout of control joints and expansion joints (as defined in UNI 11493-1 and UNI 11714-1) in the substrate. Mapeguard UM35 is a waterproof uncoupling and anti-fracture membrane that allows moisture vapour in the underlying layers to be released. Use in underfloor heating installations to distribute heat evenly when applied to heated floors, including compact heated floors.
